The fabric of Downtown Jacksonville is an eclectic weave. Experience it through Downtown’s variety of events - from cozy gatherings to citywide festivals. Downtown Vision, Inc. promotes all of Downtown’s goings-on and produces five signature events all aimed at one thing: inspiring you to fall in love with our city. From dining on the river to art in the park, Downtown Vision continues to bring people Downtown for more than 70 days of events per year.
Hemming Plaza Market (Fridays)

First Wednesday Art Walk (monthly)
Mark your calendars for the first Wednesday of each month and never miss out on this living, breathing twelve-block art gallery. Wander through the historic district of Downtown Jacksonville for a high-energy dose of art, culture and community. Movies in the Park at Treaty Oak (April 8, April 15, April 26 and May 6, 2011)

Eat Up Downtown (August 9-22, 2010)
From hip cafés to elegant steak houses, Downtown’s finest restaurants collaborate each year to bring you savory selections at one unbeatable price. Try a new restaurant or visit your old-favorite during the Downtown dining week to enjoy a specially selected, three-course dinner for $25 per person.
