The Oath of Allegiance will be administered to 20 candidates who will become America's newest citizens during a naturalization ceremony.
The event, held in recognition of World Refugee Day, will see the Jacksonville area refugee service providers celebrating the lives and contributions of refugees around the world by welcoming new citizens in a naturalization ceremony administered by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Inc.
Keynote speaker is Jacksonville native (Sandalwood graduate), Dr. Reuben E. Brigety, II, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of African Affairs. Musical performance by Abbas Abboud, classical pianist and Iraqi refugee.
