Main Street Park

The City of Jacksonville has completed Main Street Park - Downtown's newest recreation space. The project features date palms lining both sides of Main Street from Forsyth to Union streets, as well as a new pocket park. Main Street Park provides a spot of green in an area with vacant lots and surface parking facilities. The park was designed to complement the Main Library and features series of grass terraces lined with shade oak trees and a courtyard for featuring a public art exhibit.
