The Carling is the historic renovation of the Roosevelt Hotel, originally built in 1926. The Vestcor Companies has restored and renovated many of the original architectural features, including the marble staircase, terrazzo floors, and grand Palladian windows. The two-story, 1937 addition has been converted into a two-story commercial arcade with access through the building to Monroe Street.
