Join us for a new version of Dine With Us Downtown this month: Sail With Us Downtown. Come step aboard Foxy Lady Cruises as we embark on the Admiral’s Dinner Cruise along the St. Johns River. The cruise will feature dinner, sunset views of Downtown and a special presentation by Paul Astleford, president of Visit Jacksonville.

The Foxy Lady Cruise Ship is a new addition to Downtown Jacksonville’s dining and entertainment offerings. The cruises are a great opportunity to see the city from a different perspective. The ship offers a variety of cruises including private and public sightseeing, lunch, dinner and cocktail cruises.

Tickets are $56.45 (includes Admiral’s Dinner Buffet, taxes and service fee) and are available for purchase on the Foxy Lady Cruises website: http://www.zerve.com/JaxCruises/Admiral. Once aboard the ship, if you mention you are attending Sail With Us Downtown, you will receive a free drink ticket.

MENU: Admiral Cruise Buffet includes slow-roasted prime rib, chicken Alfredo over bow tie pasta, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, fresh-baked dinner rolls, Caesar salad, coffee and mouthwatering desserts.

About the Event

Bill and Kim Prescott

Bill and Kim Prescott at Cafe Nola,
the first Dine with Us Downtown destination Aug. 4, 2011.

Dine with Us Downtown is a monthly initiative founded summer 2011 by Jaguars senior vice president of operations and CFO Bill Prescott with his wife Kim, in partnership with Downtown Vision, Inc.

In Prescott's personal campaign to bring more diners Downtown, his inspiration came from an article in the Wall Street Journal about Robert De Niro inviting his friends and business associates to dine at restaurants in TriBeCa, and how that simple action helped revive the neighborhood restaurants as they recovered from 9/11.

The purpose of Dine with Us Downtown is to showcase Downtown as a true Jacksonville dining destination. Downtown is home to more than 30 fine-dining and casual establishments. This monthly event brings diners from across the Jacksonville area to dine Downtown at a predetermined restaurant on the Northbank or Southbank. Dine with Us Downtown is open to the public, and reservations are recommended.
