Halloween falls on a Monday this year and we want to celebrate with Downtown employees (and families!) wearing their best costumes for our 4th annual Trick or Treat on the Street during lunch time on Monday, Oct. 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Participating businesses and restaurants will be set up either inside
or outside their storefronts handing out candy, coupons and other
promotional goodies. Grab a costume, a friend and be sure to partake in this sweet treat!
Hemming Park: There will be a Haunted House put on by "The Magician of Hemming Park" Additionally, they will have live music by Job Miller, food by Monroe's Smokehouse BBQ and the Hemming Park Kids Zone setup.
Main Library: Kids, get to know your library a little better (and collect candy and prizes) by participating in a scavenger hunt! At 1 p.m., head down to the Makerspace for Halloween arts and crafts time.
MOCA: Create a Halloween-themed collage inspired by the works in Retrospective: Analog Photography in a Digital World.
Downtown Jacksonville has more than 43,000 public parking spaces, which include garage parking, metered street parking and peripheral parking. While you may not always be able park directly in front of your destination, you should almost always be able to find parking within a short walk.
