Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2013 Movies in the Park series!

Despite the threat of bad weather each week, the sixth-annual Movies in the Park was another success with more than 2,000 movie enthusiasts in attendance. Without the partnership of the Office of Economic Development, Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk, Riverwalk Jacksonville Development LLC, Hard Wired Internet Café, Stars Sweepstakes and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, this annual event would not be possible.

The Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk and the Duval County School Board generously provided moviegoers with free parking. The screen was provided by Amazing Amusements, and concessions were offered by Hot Dog Express and Snoasis. Thank you to
Folio Weekly, 904 and Jacksonville Magazines, EU Jacksonville, The Florida Times-Union, Jax4Kids, First Coast Parent magazine and The Resident for event promotion and those who helped spread the news via word-of-mouth, as well as the DVI staff, the Downtown Ambassadors and all of the Downtown supporters who collaborated to make this year another success.

***Note: Due to  inclement weather forecasted for tonight, Brave will be shown inside the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk's lobby. Chairs, blankets and picnic baskets are welcome and pets are not permitted this evening. Parking is still free on-site off of Prudential Dr.***

Pack your blankets, chairs and favorite snacks for a movie night under the stars. Presented by Downtown Vision, Inc. and the Office of Economic Development and hosted by the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk hotel, this four-night movie series features free, family-friendly movies overlooking the St. Johns River.
