Jake Gordon is the CEO of Downtown Vision, Inc.

Jake relocated to Jacksonville in 2015 from Camden, N.J. In Camden, he was vice president at Cooper’s Ferry Partnership (CFP), Camden’s citywide economic development corporation, as well as served as executive director of the Camden Special Services District (CSSD), Camden’s business improvement district.

For Cooper’s Ferry, Jake managed numerous revitalization projects in Camden’s downtown, waterfront and neighborhoods, including streetscape improvements, park restoration, placemaking initiatives, infrastructure rehabilitation, façade upgrades and energy-efficient retrofits. As executive director of the CSSD, Jake managed a traditional business improvement district with an expansive clean-and-safe Ambassador program. Jake also served as general counsel for CFP and CSSD.

Prior to moving to Camden in 2007, Jake worked for three years as an associate attorney for O'Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles, guiding major clients through large-scale litigation. He received his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2003 and his bachelor's of arts from University of California, San Diego in 1999.

Jake has passed the bar in California, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is active in numerous organizations, including Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Downtown Association (IDA).
