The Jacksonville Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society is pleased to welcome Edward Whelan, the President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center and a former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. As a contributor to National Review Onlineā€™s Bench Memos blog, he is a leading conservative commentator on the Supreme Court and constitutional law. Along with Justice Scalia's youngest son, Christopher Scalia, Mr. Whelan is the co-editor of Scalia Speaks, the definitive collection of Justice Scalia's speeches on the law, faith, and life. WHEN: Tuesday, January 16, 2018 TIME: 12:30-1:30 p.m. LOCATION: Jacksonville Main Public Library The Lounge (by the Front Entrance) 303 North Laura Street Jacksonville, Florida 32202 COST: $10.00 (with pre-registration).
