General Neighborhood Information

Downtown is centrally located in a region of 1.5 million people.  As the geographic center of the city and metropolitan area, Downtown includes more than 5.6 miles of riverfront, 50 acres of public park space and plenty of public access to the St. Johns River.

Many of the region's largest public and cultural facilities are located Downtown, including the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center, EverBank Field, Veterans Memorial Arena, Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, and the Main Library.
